My Holiday

Last week my friend and I were bored after three weeks of holidays, so we rode our bikes to Pasir Kencana Beach, which is only five kilometres from where I live. When we arrived at the beach, we were surprised to see there was hardly anyone there.

After having a quick dip in the ocean, which was really cold, we realized one reason there were not many people there. It was also quite windy. After we bought some hot chips at the takeaway store nearby, we rode our bikes down the beach for a while, on the hard, damp part of the sand. We had the wind behind us and, before we knew it, we were many miles down the beach.

Before we made the long trip back, we decided to paddle our feet in the water for a while, and then sit down for a rest. While we were sitting on the beach, just chatting, it suddenly dawned on us that all the way back, we would be riding into the strong wind.

When we finally made it back home, we were both totally exhausted! But we learned some good lessons that day.

Lions
Lions is the one of wild animal and the second largest cat in the world which generally live in the jungle and sahara. Lions are very social animals, they live in groups called prides of arround 30 lions. A pride consist of up to three males, a dozen related female, and their young.
Males and females take on very different roles in the pride. Male lions are spend their time guarding their territory and their cubs. Female lions are the primary hunters of the group. They are smaller and more agile than males. But since their prey is still generally faster than them, they use teamwork to bring animal down.
Lions have strong bodies and powerful forelegs, teeth, and jaws for pulling down and killing a prey. Lions usually hunt at night. Their prey include deers, buffaloes, giraffes, hippos and many more. But sometimes, they also hunt a small prey like, mice, birds, and lizards. After successful hunt, all the lions in the pride share the meal.
Once the prey has been immobilized, lioness will let lion males in the group to enjoy the quarry, then follow the adult lionesses. Lion cubs will begin to come eat when all the adult lions have been completed.
